Skier at Solitude injured and in serious condition, to be airlifted
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – An emergency flight rescue has been called for a 33-year-old man skiing at Solitude Resort on Tuesday.
The Unified Police Department (UPD) says the man was skiing out of bounds when the accident happened.

RICHFIELD, Utah (ABC4) – A man was arrested after attempting to solicit a teenager’s undergarments on a high school campus.
According to Richfield Police, the incident happened at Richfield High School on Dec. 15.

More poor air quality and clear skies, but a chance for a white Christmas
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Happy First Day of Winter Utah! The solstice occurred earlier this morning at 8:58 a.m. That’s when the sun’s rays were directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.5° S. Today will be the shortest day of the year, but after today each day will be a little longer all the way through the Summer Solstice in June!
Weather-wise we won’t see many changes today compared to what we had yesterday thanks to a stubborn ridge of high pressure keeping our skies mostly quiet. There will be some clouds, mainly in southern Utah, but they won’t be sticking around.
