Samsung recently revealed the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Pro 360, two new models under its brand of ultra-thin laptops designed for mobility and productivity.
As the successors of last year’s Galaxy Book line, the Book 2 Pro and Pro 360 continue to cater to professionals who are always on the move. Here’s a quick look at some of the most exciting features of these new computers that Samsung revealed at MWC 2022.
On the outside, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series sports Samsung’s sleek and fashionable design. These laptops sit around the 11-millimeter mark in terms of overall thickness, though the Book 2 Pro 360 is very slightly thicker than the base Book 2 Pro. Both machines are very light, with the heaviest version being the 15-inch Pro 360 at 1.41 kilograms (3.1 pounds).
Samsung also offers these computers in 13-inch and 15-inch variants for those who want to work with larger screens. The larger 15-inch versions also have an additional (and optional) nano SIM slot in case the extra capabilities are needed.
Speaking of slots, both models feature the same external ports: Thunderbolt connectors for fast and convenient charging, USB Type-C and 3.2 ports for universal access to peripherals, an HDMI connector, a 3.5pi headphone and mic jack and a slot microSD cards.
The Book 2 Pro series comes in Silver and Graphite options, though the Book 2 Pro 360 has a Burgundy option for users who want to stand out.

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro series is designed with professionals in mind. The computers come with FHD, Greenguard-certified AMOLED displays at 1080p resolutions, which guarantee pristine image quality with sharp pictures and bright colors together with a 1080p FHD webcam that can capture wider angles. These are complemented by Smart Amp speakers with AKG and Dolby Atomos support, offering users top-quality audio-visual experiences across the board.
With these features combined, anyone can enjoy both higher-quality video conferencing and amazing multimedia capabilities.
Internally, the Book 2 Pro and Pro 360 are nearly identical. Both sport Intel’s new 12th-generation P-Series CPUs that feature more cores than the previous versions. This ensures rapid response times even while using processor-heavy programs.
The computers are also equipped with 1TB NVMe SSDs, Intel’s Iris X GPU and up to 32GB of RAM depending on the user’s preference.
Samsung integrated some impressive software into the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series, all of which were designed to make everyday use of the computers as easy and seamless as possible.
Studio Mode is a helpful feature that makes video conferencing hassle-free. It can automatically frame users to the center of the screen, and the new and improved face and background effects can improve the user’s appearance on camera.
At the same time, advanced AI noise cancellation can help block any distracting sounds from both ends, ensuring clearer calls between the user and their colleagues.
Lastly, Galaxy’s suite of connectivity tools can help users keep their Samsung devices perfectly synced in terms of settings and file-sharing capabilities, allowing anyone to freely move their files between machines. All of these are protected by advanced, enterprise-level cyber-security protocols that are rooted deep within the device.
As the need for reliable portable devices grows, the value of the features embedded in the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series continues to become valuable. Due to these mindful features, this new lineup is getting the honor of Best of MWC 2022 from us.
