UTAH COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) —
Lone Peak Fire District officials said they responded Saturday to help rescue a woman in American Fork Canyon.
They said she had fallen on ice and Utah County Search and Rescue was requested. Search and rescue teams were luckily already in the canyon training at the time.

Officials brought crampons, which are spikes that hook to your shoes, to assist in the rescue.
Rescue teams were able to assist in bringing the patient down to the ambulance where she was transported to the hospital.
“People it’s SLICKERY out there!” fire district officials warned on social media.
