RESTON, Va. (AP) _ Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $43 million.
On a per-share basis, the Reston, Virginia-based company said it had profit of 76 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to $1.50 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.18 per share.
The information technology company posted revenue of $1.78 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.77 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $277 million, or $4.77 per share. Revenue was reported as $7.39 billion.
SAIC expects full-year earnings in the range of $6.80 to $7.10 per share, with revenue in the range of $7.35 billion to $7.55 billion.
